തക്ഷകൻ ആ തടിവാതിലിലേക്ക് തന്റെ വലിയ കൈകൾ അമർത്താൻ തുടങ്ങിയ ആ നിമിഷം… ആ വലിയ ഇടനാഴിയുടെ നിശ്ശബ്ദതയെ കീറിമുറിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് പിന്നിൽ നിന്നൊരു ശബ്ദം മുഴങ്ങിക്കേട്ടു.
“നിൽക്കൂ…”
വളരെ ശാന്തമായ, എന്നാൽ ആരെയും നിശ്ചലമാക്കാൻ പോന്നത്ര അധികാരമുള്ള ഒരു സ്ത്രീശബ്ദം!
ഞെട്ടലോടെ ഞാനും സച്ചിനും രാഹുലും, എന്തിന് വാതിൽ തുറക്കാൻ നിന്ന തക്ഷകൻ പോലും ആ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടയുടനെ പെട്ടെന്ന് തിരിഞ്ഞുനോക്കി.
അവിടെ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് പിന്നിലായി, ആ ഇടനാഴിയുടെ അറ്റത്തുനിന്നും അവൾ നടന്നു വരികയായിരുന്നു… സാക്ഷാൽ മാനസ!
അവർക്ക് തൊട്ടുപിന്നിലായി നാഗികയുമുണ്ട്.
എന്നാൽ എന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾ അതിവേഗം പരതിയത് അവർക്ക് പിന്നിലായി നടന്നുവരുന്ന ആ നാല് രൂപങ്ങളിലേക്കാണ്. ആമിയും നിധിയും, ഒപ്പം റോസും കൃതികയും! എല്ലാവരും അവിടെ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
